A place in the sun
Out of the drizzly grey
HOW DO YOU MAKE SUN-SOAKED, BEACHFRONT PROPERTIES EVEN MORE APPEALING THAN THEY ALREADY ARE?
That was the challenge facing us with A Place In The Sun's new website. Take the existing portfolio of stunning locations and present it in a way that does the brand justice. All while fighting the urge to jump on a flight and escape the Great British weather.
"We need an update"
The project started like any other: a prospective client approached us and asked for a refreshed online presence. That meant a site that functions as beautifully as it works, increases dwell time and improves brand perception.
A few renovations
We looked over the old site, we knew we were facing something we could get our teeth into creatively. The old site wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination, but we knew it could be better. And we knew we'd be the ones to make it happen. Our approach to building the site was to make the visuals do the talking. We began with the brand's vibrant orange and developed a colour palette that complements the photography. And shows off the inviting warmth of life abroad. The goal was to make a site where visitors feel compelled to click around. So a focus on clean, dynamic displays of images and removal of clutter, gave way to a site that showcases all that A.P.I.T.S. has to offer.
The end result is something to be proud of. A site that gives A Place In The Sun a look for 2016 that's as inviting as one of their villas by the sea.
